The home of one of the most recognizable names in Chicago’s real estate industry has been transformed into a wrought iron restaurant.
Owner and architect Daniel F. Fishel’s Chicago-based company, Wrought Iron Kitchen, recently completed a $3.6 million remodel of the former Chateau Marmont property in the Roseland neighborhood of the city.
The house is expected to open its doors to the public on Friday.
“I am so excited about this project.
It’s really special to me.
This is the most beautiful house I’ve ever seen,” Fishears owner and real estate broker Mark Fishell said in a statement.
“It is one of a kind in Chicago.
It is going to bring back the memories that I grew up with.
I am just so excited to finally share this with the world.”
The project was funded by the Chicago Board of Trade, which in 2014 approved a $2.8 million grant to build the new home.
The home features five bedrooms, three baths and four bathrooms, and will be home to Fisher’s three children and two adult grandchildren.
The Fishers say they are “so excited” to open the home to the world.
“This is the dream for me,” Fiell said.
“This is a home that I’m proud of, that is going places and that I am going to live in.
This home will change the way I see and live my life.”
Fishear has worked with Chicago architecture firm Rohnert Park Associates since 1999.
His company has designed more than 50 homes for clients including a home in Florida and a home near his home in New York.
The Wrought iron-clad home is a striking, contemporary home that will make Fishes name a Chicago icon.
It will also be featured on the cover of Chicago Magazine.
The renovation of the home is part of the firm’s $2 billion Chicago development.
Fiehrs company is planning two other projects, including a second Wrought-Iron Kitchen in Chicago, as well as a home for Fishars two children.
